Connie Livingston, RN, LCCE, FACCE, ICCE, CD(DONA) (Ohio). Connie has been a registered nurse for 36 years and a Lamaze International certified childbirth educator for 31 years. She is President of Perinatal Education Associates, Inc., a leading Lamaze trainer and educator, the developer of numerous doula programs and director and editor at Childbirth Today at Birthsource. She has also served for many years on the board of the ICEA. Connie is a frequent contributor to leading birth magazines. She has graciously agreed to host a book review on her internationally known website.

Ivy Shih Leung, blogger at Ivy’s PPD Blog and author of One Mom’s Journey to Motherhood: Infertility, Childbirth Complications, and Postpartum Depression, Oh My! a wonderful book in the genre of perinatal mental illness survivorship.Her book gives us, as Ivy says, insight into the “ordinary postpartum depression” experience of an everyday person. And it is eye-opening how much a woman and her family can suffer from perinatal mental illness. She is a mom and a professional woman and active and passionate about the postpartum depression and bullying worlds. She has graciously agreed to review my book on her blog and I know she doesn’t;s have a lot of spare time. I truly appreciate her gift of attention to this and I’m glad she is in my group of friends.

Dr. Ann Becker-Schutte (Missouri) is a licensed psychologist practicing in Kansas City, Missouri. Her rockin’ practice specialty is the intersection of physical and emotional health, grief & loss and infertility. Ann loves to work around the issues of the mindbody connection. She helps so many people cope with their lives with her compassionate heart-centered work.

Jamie Bodily , MS, CD(DONA) (Missouri) is the Doula Mentor . She has masters degrees in counseling and human services and has been attending births and helping women for 12 years. She has studied the transition to parenthood extensively and is passionate about serving families, women and mentoring the doulas who help them. We’ll be chewing the fat on March 12, 9:30 PM EST about Secondary Post-traumatic Stress Disorder for Healthcare Providers (such as psychotherapists, doulas, nurses).
